Amanda Guindon turned twenty-one this week. She grew up in the a small town of called Millis, in, just outside of Boston, but now lives in an apartment in Easton. Amanda is currently a senior at BSU and is looking forward to graduating as an English major in the spring of 2021. She currently works at a grocery store on a part-time basis, and spent quite a bit of time there over the summer, but Amanda chose to reduce her hours there so that she could focus more on her schoolwork. Back home in Millis, she has two rambunctious dogs named Tucker and Hondo, and at her apartment in Easton, she has a sweet and easygoing cat named Odessa who is barely a year old. When the pandemic reared its ugly head, Amanda finished up her school work and took some time off for herself, before returning to work. Amanda took full advantage of her time off, and used it to connect with her friends by playing myriad video games such as Minecraft, World of Warcraft, and Stardew Valley. Video games gave her the ability to interact with her friends from home and from school. When she wasn’t online playing games, Amanda passed the time by watching YouTube videos as well as working on puzzles.
