The Big Talk: Alumni Questions
You are welcome to put these in your own words, but you should make sure that the question you ask is really asking the same thing as the questions here. You should ask all of the questions. You can add up to two questions to this list.

You are welcome to put these in your own words, but you should make sure that the question you ask is really asking the same thing as the questions here. You should ask all of the questions. You can add up to two questions to this list.
When you email your alum:
- Thank them again for doing this.
- Tell them that you are trying to write a paper that tells a reader who they are and how they got to where they are.
- Tell them the time line for this paper—that you need to have a draft for workshopping in class by Friday, 6 October 2017 and that the revised draft is due the following Wednesday, 11 October 2017.
- Tell them that you might have some follow up questions.
- REMEMBER TO CC ME on the email you send.
QUESTIONS WE CAME UP WITH THIS CLASS (and one that I added)
- Tell me about your time at BSU—what was your life like then? What did you do while you were at BSU? Were there people/events that had an affect on you?
- What is your life like now?
- Do you have a life horror story? Or maybe just obstacles or difficulties that you had to work through to get where you are?
- What are your plans for the future? What comes next for you?
- How would you define success?
- If there was one or two stories that helped me to know who you are and what you care about, what would it be?
